Mountain Movers’ Chapel is a Bible-based church that operates on holiness, faith, prayer, and the study of God’s word and its practice. The church is a prophetic-inspired ministry that also functions by the fivefold ministry – apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:11).

With the knowledge that colours play pivotal roles in human activities, MMCI is identified with four prime colours with their meanings and significance rooted in the Bible. The colours are blue, purple, red and white.

PHILOSOPHY

Our belief in God is anchored on faith. Our relationship with God is sustained by prayer. Our usefulness manifests in our diligence and productivity, by which we positively impact lives. With this philosophical underpinning, our church is grounded in faith; prayer is our way of life, and hard work and diligent service manifest our humanity.

The pillar of faith –‘And without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.’ (Hebrews 11:6)

The pillar of Prayer –The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7

The pillar of productivity –All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. Proverbs 14:23

Mission

Our mission is to become a miracle hub and centre of excellence with the Bible as the source to equip people with the requisite knowledge, skills and expertise to complete their divinely inspired purpose but not to compete for self-glorification.

Vision

The vision of MMCI is to ensure that the world gets to know Christ, see Christ, hear about Christ and accept Christ.

Ideals

We aim to illuminate the world with pragmatic and productive living that impacts lives and attracts souls to Christ.

With faith, prayer and the word of God as guiding lights, the church exists to equip its members with knowledge and skills that manifest Christlikeness to provide leadership for service to humanity and to glorify God.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

Mountain Movers Chapel International (MMCI) is a bible-believing church where the word of God is taught with a demonstration of the power of God through prophetic revelation. As a ministry, we have beliefs and principles in line with what the Bible teaches.

We believe in the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and beneficial for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness “so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that to receive salvation and enter Heaven, one must be born again per the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible.
We believe and partake in the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe in Holy Ghost and water baptism
We believe in speaking in tongues [Acts 2:1-4]
We believe in tithing [Malachi 3:10; Leviticus 27:30]
We believe in dedicating children according to the Bible and not baptising them
We believe in corporate fasting and prayers [Mark 9:29; Acts 13:3]
We believe in missionary work in remote villages and prisons [Matthew 28:19; Matthew 25:36]
We believe in sowing financial seeds and receiving blessings from God [Isaiah 30:23; Genesis 26:12]
We believe in the first fruits of what God has blessed us with [Exodus 23:19; Exodus 34:26]
We believe in honouring and appreciating our Pastors [Jeremiah 3:15; 1 Corinthians 9:14]

We are a preferred church of choice with loving people. We believe in the power and manifestation of God's word. We serve the city and our members through the true preaching of the Word of God as well as the right administration of the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper.
