Bishop Elisha Kwabena Boateng is a charismatic and dynamic minister of the Gospel blessed with multiple talents evidenced in the various giftings of the Holy Spirit, thereby presenting him variously as an evangelist, an apostle, and a prophet. His passion for the work of God is unparalleled, and his service as a minister of the Gospel spans several decades. He has ministered to hundreds of congregations in villages, towns and cities in various parts of Africa, Europe and Americas. There are umpteen testimonies of the miracle of healing associated with his ministry, and his prophetic administration has brought many revelations and directions to many people. As an apostle, he has pastored and nurtured many churches, notably in Africa and Europe. Also, as an evangelist, he has helped bring several people to the Light who now fill churches in countries like Ghana, Togo Cote d’Ivoire, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom and others. He also has a powerful gift of song ministration, emphasising praises and worship, resulting in healing and diverse breakthroughs. In addition, he has trained many pastors and other gospel ministers who continue to touch lives positively.Bishop Boateng has received several compensation and honours in appreciation for his splendid and devoted services to humanity. His core message as a preacher is about the need for holiness and faith in God, emphasising the reality of Heaven and Hell, noting that Heaven is a prepared place for the prepared people. He also encourages hard work for prosperity, noting that Christ did not call His followers into poverty and misery. Therefore he who works diligently and faithfully will not be denied their portion of wealth not only for themselves but for the good of their neighbours and the larger human community to the glory of God. Like Apostle Paul, Bishop Elisha Boateng believes in applying his knowledge and expertise to create wealth. Hence, besides his job as a minister of the Gospel, he is also an entrepreneur who has established businesses through which many people earn their means of livelihood. These businesses cut across many spheres, including transport, trading, farming and artisanship. Even long before he entered the ministry, he ran a successful transport business in Ghana and was directly involved in the company’s day-to-day running.
As a minister of the Gospel, Bishop Boateng passed through the hands of many seasoned men of God before he got the prompting of the Holy Spirit to establish the Mountain Movers Chapel, which he currently heads as the head pastor and general overseer and which has branches in various parts of the world. Among the men of God through whose hands Bishop Boateng passed were well-accomplished apostles like Bishop Opoku Afriyie of the Assemblies of God Church, the late renowned evangelist and Apostle Aqcuah, the respected Evangelist Seth Fevlo, the late Apostle Sackey and several others from whom he picked some traits that have made him well-established and successful in various aspects of the ministry, including prayer, word ministration, prophecy, teaching and healing.
Perhaps, what is even more startling about Bishop Boateng and his immense seriousness in his work as an apostle of Christ is that he is a converted Muslim who has survived several trials and temptations. Therefore, he is a tried, tested and proven minister devoted to his calling and uncompromising in his faith and commitment to his calling. The passion and uniqueness of Bishop Boateng’s ministry manifest in his preparedness to preach the Gospel wherever he has to. He has been on some of the most significant flights and used business class to the most prominent cities and elitist congregations to preach the Gospel. He has also ridden on motorcycles to remote villages where there is no electricity to preach to congregations who do not even have musical instruments apart from clapping their hands in singing. He is a man of God who lives on prayer, and his mantra is, ‘A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian but a prayerful Christian is a powerful Christian.’
As a respected and world-renowned preacher and statesman, Bishop Elisha Kwabena Boateng has interacted with and ministered to the high and mighty in various countries, such as political and traditional leaders, including His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene, Ghana. He has also been honoured by the revered House of Lords in the United Kingdom–London for his contributions to the development of the human community.
